01. Scope
This notice describes information used by the Circle Track website and its account registration and sign-in journey. Circle Auto introduces vehicle tracking; Circle Eye introduces driver and road camera views alongside tracking. Information about an activated tracking or camera service should be read with its service agreement.
02. Account information
Account registration requests your name, email address, password, company or account name and personal or fleet account type. A phone number is optional. Required fields are needed to create your account. Sign-in uses your email and password, and password recovery uses your email address.
These details support registration, authentication, password recovery and account administration. Account registration is not consent to unrelated marketing.
03. Contacting us
The contact form prepares an enquiry in your own email app. It does not submit or store your message on this website. When you send the email, your email provider delivers your message and sender details to hello@circletrack.co.za. The optional copy button copies the prepared text to your clipboard.
Include only information needed to answer your enquiry. Please do not send passwords, identity documents or private vehicle footage by email or social-media message.
04. The interactive experience
The map, marker, vehicle, camera and dashboard are illustrations. They do not show your location, vehicle or camera feed. Scrolling and pointer movement control the animation within your browser. The animation does not transmit those inputs or request access to your location, camera or microphone.
05. Cookies and third-party services
The account application uses an authentication cookie to maintain sign-in. It is configured with a maximum lifetime of seven days, and signing out removes it. Blocking cookies can prevent account access.
The website loads its typeface from Google Fonts, which receives the browser requests required to deliver the font. Following a Facebook link opens Meta’s service, where its own terms and privacy policy apply. This website does not include an advertising pixel or an analytics tracker.
Loading a website also involves connection information, such as an IP address and browser details, handled by its hosting providers. Website hosting, account authentication and email are separate services.
06. Vehicle and camera information
Using this marketing website does not activate vehicle tracking or camera recording. Before activating a service, review what information it collects, who can access it, the applicable retention settings and your responsibilities to drivers and other affected people.
Vehicle owners and fleet administrators must have lawful authority for monitoring and provide appropriate notices and permissions. Do not use monitoring for covert or unlawful surveillance.
07. Access, correction and deletion
Subject to applicable requirements and exceptions, you can request access to personal information about you, request correction or deletion where appropriate, object to certain processing and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Withdrawal does not undo lawful processing that occurred earlier.
Email hello@circletrack.co.za with privacy questions or requests, including questions about retention, service providers or storage locations. We may need reasonable information to identify the account and verify your authority before disclosing private information. Do not include your password.
You may also raise a complaint with South Africa’s Information Regulator. Retention and deletion remain subject to applicable legal obligations.
